About Us Mentoring 2 Missions
Raising Up and Serving His Saints

We seek to connect generations together that they might spur one another on towards love and good works for His Glory. For it is by His grace that those called to serve will be inspired and prepared through the experience and knowledge of those that have gone before to fulfill the call of taking the gospel in to all the world. M2M operates a retreat and training center which we call "Our Common Grounds."

This is a non-profit, evangelical and interdenominational organization under the umbrella of Christian Friends Connexion, a 501c3. We do not charge missionaries for their stay. All the expenses of the ministry and stay are subsidized through donations by supporting churches and individuals. These funds do not support salaries. M2M and Our Common Grounds, nestled in the north Georgia mountains on the banks of Lake Lanier, seeks to provide a place of rest, restoration and reflection for missionaries as they transition to or from home or seek shelter from the storms of service.

While priority for housing is given to missionaries and missionary appointees, others involved in full time Christian work are also considered based on occupancy. Stays from three to ninety days available with extensions possible. We are open to several missionary organizations that desire to have a remote location for training seminars, leadership retreats, and special events together to mentor younger servants for His glory.

History

Our founder, Cindy Ashby, has served in missions since 1995. She and her family were called to be servants to the saints; feeding, encouraging and preparing them both in and out of the United States. She has seen first-hand the need for proper training, partnership and restoration.
